FAQ'S

  • Do you offer delivery options?
First time travel can be scary for some...even those with four legs! Because our primary concern is the safety and well being of your pup, we only allow our pups to fly with the accompaniment of a flight nanny. If one of our trusted Nanny's is available, we are happy to arrange one of three options for you: 1. Home delivery by vehicle 2. A half way meeting point between us and you 3. A flight for our Nanny and your new pup All Nanny and travel expenses will be an aditional cost and covered by the adopting family.
  • Can we visit your facility?
Absolutely! We love to have visitors! We also understand that bringing a puppy into your family is a big decision and lifestyle change that may be made easier with a visit in advance.
  • Why do the prices of each puppy vary?
Several factors play into the varying prices we set for our puppies. Gender, their unique markings, and the color.
  • How big will my puppy get?
We do our best to give you an accurate estimation of how big your pup's adult size will be, however, you can never be certain and should keep in mind it is an estimation. The two factors we consider when giving an estimation include: the size of both the parents and the common size for a Cavapoo. The best estimate of their size that we can give you is between 10 and 17 lbs. Most of our adults are on the smaller side.
  • How easy are Cavapoos to train?
Cavapoos are known to be very trainable thanks to their loving nature, high intelligence, and interest in pleasing their masters. Rewards based training, which can involve treats and praise (or simply praise alone) is extremely effective for training Cavapoos. Treats should be healthy and low-calorie pieces of food to prevent over feeding. Cavapoos do not respond well to an over-bearing or loud nature due to their gentle and somewhat docile tendancies. This means yelling, hitting, or any kind of negative reinforcement is unlikely to yield good results when training a cavapoo. They respond best to praise (and lots of it) due to their love of pleasing humans. Training is most effective when it is started immediately at a young age and continued throughout their lives. Consistency is of the utmost importance to ensure your Cavapoo understands your expectations and knows how their actions will be responded to by you. Establishing yourself as the leader will help them understand their role in the home and ensure they don't attempt to take over and do as they please when you're not around.
  • Can Cavapoos be used for a service dog?
Cavapoos adapt well to different environments, they love humans strange and familiar alike. They are highly intelligent, considered gentle creatures. Thanks to their easy-going and social nature, if they are trained properly, these characteristics can make them very suitable as an emotional support dog.
  • Will my puppy be up to date on his/her vaccination?
    Yes.
  • Will my puppy be seen by a reputable veterinarian before I pick him/her up?
    Yes.
  • Will my puppy be registered?
All our adults are registered with American Kennel Association and most are from champion bloodlines. AKC will not recognize a mixed breed, therefore we are not able to register your cavapoo puppy with them. We do, however, register our litters with CKC. Our Cavalier King Charles puppies ARE registered with CKC.
